Lactose concentration in 5% (w/w) MPC85 suspension (“whole suspension”) compared with the concentration of lactose present in the soluble or dispersed phase (i.e. particles < 1.6 μm) after different periods of time during powder rehydration. MPC85 powders stored for 0, 1 and 2 months at 24 °C and 23% relative humidity are reported. No significant differences were observed at the probability level of 0.05.
