We have great pleasure in announcing the renaming of the journal Le Lait. As from the first 2008 issue the title of the journal will be Dairy Science and Technology. The decision to change the name of the journal was taken after careful reflection, bearing in mind the “ineluctable English writing revolution” (J-L Maubois, Editor in Chief of Dairy Science and Technology, New name for Le Lait). Today, it is necessary for those wishing to contribute to the progress of fundamental knowledge and applied technology in the production of human food, to do so in terms of a worldwide situation.
